Dear Neighbor,
We're sure you have heard our executive director Tom Rau say, "Hunger and basic needs don't take a summer off." He's right! The Neighbors' Place has been busy this summer offering over 900 families with food each week, growing fresh produce in 3 separate gardens, and helping people stay cool during the hot days of summer by providing fans and other basic needs.

Did you know the Hot Tee Classic is our second largest fundraiser? This year's event did not disappoint. Golfers and our community partners helped raise $5,353!
Even the hot day didn't keep people away - attendance grew 22%!
Thank you Olson Tire & Auto Service, Inc. for sponsoring our reception. Thank you Ruder Ware for sponsoring the event's lunch.
The staff at The Neighb ors' Place recently helped a young woman transition from The Women's Community, Inc. to an apartment of her own with a part-time job. She still uses The Neighbors' Place to supplement her small budget with groceries and basic items. But more importantly, she visits The Neighbors' Place to visit her friends. Listen to her story at 'Conversations With Our Neighbors.'

People often ask us, "What does the food pantry need?" We're so happy you asked, and the truth is, we'd love for you to donate whatever is in your pantry! Your neighbors eat the same items you do.
