Our Board

 

Members of The Neighbors’ Place Board of Directors bring a variety of experience and expertise to the organization – as well as this community. Eileen Eckardt RN BSN, President-Elect

Marathon County Health Department, Director of Family Health and Communicable Disease
On the Board since: 2018
Eileen serves on the Human Resources committee for The Neighbor’s Place. She works in public health at the Marathon County Health Department as a program director for the Start Right program as well as communicable disease, and is involved in several community initiatives. Eileen has been a past board member of Bridge Community Health Clinic. She is active in the community as a volunteer, with experiences that include Aspirus Hospice, the St. Vincent de Paul Free Clinic in Merrill, the Wausau Warming Center, and Marathon County 4H. She lives in the country with her family and various 4 legged friends and likes to read, walk, spin yarn, horseback ride, and kayak in her free time.

Erik Rajek, Treasurer

First Business Bank, Director of SBA Credit 
On the Board since: 2018
Chair of the TNP Finance Committee and a member of the Health Impact Team for United Way of Marathon County. Prior to serving on the Board, Erik was a community member on the TNP Finance committee for 3 years

Melinda Bartell, Secretary

Melinda also serves on the Executive Committee and the Community Engaement Committee.

Susie Aguilar

Community Member and Human Resources Generalist with Greenheck
On the Board since 2021
Susie also serves on the Human Capital Committee for The Neighbor’s Place. She moved to Wausau from Denver in 2020 and is excited to be part of the community.  She loves to volunteer and is always looking for new ways to be involved.  In her spare time, she loves traveling, hiking, waterskiing, kayaking, and adding to her indoor plant collection.

Tracy Etten

Tracy is also Chair of the C-3 Committee and serves on both the Empty Bowls and Par-Tee Committees.

AyLee Her

Bridge Community Health Clinic, Community Outreach Coordinator
On the board since: 2018
AyLee also serves  on the Community Engagement Committee. Also serve the City of Wausau Citizen's Advisory Committee.

Matthew Muzynoski

Intercity State Bank, AVP Business Banking
On the Board since: 2019
Matthew serves as a Finance Committee member for The Neighbors' Place.  In addition, he also serves on the board for Whitetails Unlimited - Wisconsin River Valley Chapter and the board for the Achieve Center, Inc.

Heidi Naber

Heidi serves on the Community Engagement Committee. In addition she is  a member of the  Board for United Way Emerging Leaders. and also sits on the Lead Committee .

Tyler also serves on the Human Resources Committee.  He enjoys reading, playing board games, photographing clouds, and craft projects.

Jane Ritger

Jane also serves as Co-Chair of the Community Engagement Committee for The Neighbor's Place.

Emily Voss

On the Board since: 2018
Emily Voss serves on the Marketing Committee of The Neighbor’s Place.  Other volunteer activities including serving on the Board of Directors for The Community Foundation, the BID Board and the Chalkfest committee.  She has a newly certified Therapy dog and plans to visit local medical facilities to lift the spirits of patients.
