Next Ice Tee Classic, set for February 20, 2010
The 400 Block in Downtown Wausau

Event Information:
On Saturday, February 20, 2010 The Neighbors’ Place will hold its 15th Annual Ice Tee Classic. Participants will gather on the 400 Block in Downtown Wausau for a fun filled miniature golf style outing in the snow and ice to benefit The Neighbors’ Place. The Neighbors’ Place provides services to local residents in need, including: operating the area’s largest food pantry (distributes food to more than 3,000 people each month), providing youth services, adult education, language programs,
outreach services and the management of a community garden.

This fun and colorful event, unique to the Wausau area, is a major fundraiser for The Neighbors’ Place. Local businesses and organizations design and decorate themed holes in the snow and ice for the event (hole themes have included Hawaiian, Polka, Western, Hollywood, Sci-Fi, etc.). Teams of golfers swat tennis balls in the snow and ice with unique “golf clubs” such as tennis rackets, brooms, real golf clubs and homemade creations. The entry fee for golfers is a suggested donation of $2/person, $5/maximum per family. All are welcome, regardless of their ability to pay.

Business sponsors are the lifeline of the Ice Tee Classic. Numerous area businesses, organizations and individuals contribute to help us meet our fundraising goal by becoming a sponsor of the event. The 2010 sponsorship levels include:

Presenting Sponsor $1,500
Championship Level $300
Masters Level $200
PGA Level $100
Individual Pro Level $50

• Business sponsors at the Presenting Sponsor or Championship Level will have their logo on Ice Tee Classic publicity materials and at the Ice Tee Classic site the day of the event.
• All business sponsors are recognized in Ice Tee Classic publicity materials and at the Ice Tee Classic site the day of the event.
• Sponsors at the Masters Level ($200) and above will have the entry fee waived for those that wish to enter a team of golfers in the event.
